Ben Folds

Ben Folds is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer known for his witty lyrics, piano-driven rock, and genre-blending style. He first gained fame in the 1990s as the frontman of Ben Folds Five, a band that brought an alternative, piano-powered twist to the rock scene with hits like Brick, Army, and Song for the Dumped.

After the band initially disbanded in 2000, Folds pursued a successful solo career, releasing albums like Rockin’ the Suburbs (2001) and Way to Normal (2008). He has also collaborated with artists across genres, from Regina Spektor to William Shatner, and even worked with orchestras, showcasing his versatility as a musician.

Fredericksburg Fire

A significant wildfire, known as the "Crabapple Fire," is currently affecting northeastern Gillespie County near Fredericksburg, Texas.
