The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, is renowned for its stunning display of flowers, particularly tulips. As Asia's largest tulip garden, it spans approximately 30 hectares (74 acres) and is situated at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, overlooking the picturesque Dal Lake. The garden, originally known as Siraj Bagh, was opened in 2007 to promote floriculture and tourism in the Kashmir Valley. The star attraction is its vast collection of tulips, with around 1.7 million tulip bulbs planted annually, showcasing a vibrant array of colors and varieties. The garden features up to 75 different types of tulips, including early, mid, and late-blooming varieties, creating a spectacular mosaic of hues ranging from fiery reds and yellows to soft pinks, purples, and whites.
